The upcoming “Technology and Society in Asia” conference includes among its sponsores IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology. Each year SSIT organises an International Symposium on Technology & Society (ISTAS). This Conference incorporates ISTAS 2012.

As a benefit of this, selected presenters will be invited to submit their papers to SSIT's quarterly award winning journal IEEE Technology and Society.
