IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology. 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of the IEEE society devoted to the social implications of technologies – the Society on the Social Implications of Technology (SSIT). The Conference will also incorporate the annual SSIT International Symposium on Technology and Society for 2012 (ISTAS2012).
